Today you will build 'Smartphone Lifestyle' sites - don't worry, there is no coding - only selection and manipulation of templates.


Here is how to start - individual, not group work - estimated time = 1 1/2 hours
  • Choose a hotel (individual not group) or business for your site
    • You can select and modify text and images from that site
  • Do NOT use the real name of the hotel - the brand is owned by that hotel/business.  Invent a name.
  • Make a plan, use the criteria from your homework research to plan your pages - minimum of 5
    • Tip, select photos + text phrases, put in a dossier - it will make your build easier
OK, now - select a platform for your site
  • Strikingly or Wix - I suggest that you view a video or tutorial before you start
  • Take your time to view several templates, then choose one
  • Recommend treating your photos with text/hashtag - I use Pixlr Express
Your blog post:
  • Take screenshots of each of your pages, upload in your blog
  • Post a text link to your Smartphone site
  • Submit - as usual - below
